My name is Jibri McLean, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with a Master of Science in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. I’m committed to creating a supportive and affirming space where individuals, couples, and communities can find healing, clarity, and empowerment.
I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, couples, and clients from diverse racial, cultural, and gender identities—including Black clients, other clients of color, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I have a deep commitment to working with young Black males, who are often not encouraged to explore therapy as a path toward healing and self-understanding.
My approach is grounded in cultural humility, empathy, and a deep respect for the unique experiences that shape each person’s story. In our work together, I draw from evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care—tailoring each session to meet your individual needs and goals.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, or seeking a deeper connection with yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, insight, and support.
