Thank you for choosing Basic Bliss Life Coaching and Counseling, LLC for your therapeutic needs. We strive to provide excellent care while maintaining transparency in our financial practices. Please review the following financial policy information:

Payment Responsibility:

Effective immediately, all copays, discounted self-pay therapy session fees, deductibles, coinsurance, late cancellation fees, and outstanding balances must be paid before the scheduled therapy session.

As a small private practice, Basic Bliss Life Coaching and Counseling remains committed to accepting insurance despite frequent claim denials, delayed payments, and low reimbursement rates. To continue providing high-quality care and maintaining practice sustainability, session payments must be collected upfront.

Important: Clients must be logged into their client portal account to add or manage a payment method online. The client portal can be accessed here:

For smoother transactions and to help ensure therapy sessions remain scheduled without interruption, we strongly recommend that clients securely save a payment method in the client portal.

Cards saved on file may be charged within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment for copays, self-pay balances, deductibles, coinsurance, late cancellation fees, or outstanding balances.

If unforeseen circumstances prevent a client from attending a session after payment has been made, the payment will remain as a credit on the client’s account and will automatically apply toward the next therapy session.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and Health Savings Account cards with a Visa or Mastercard logo.

Insurance Coverage:

We are considered Out-Of-Network [OON] providers for most insurance plans. However, we do accept Independence Blue Cross, Personal Choice, and Keystone Health Plan East, Cigna and Aetna for people residing in Pennsylvania.

Cancellations and No-Show Policy:

We require an 8 hour notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee.

• Clients who fail to attend scheduled appointments without notice ("no-shows") may be subject to a fee of $35.00

We reserve the right to modify our financial policy as needed. Any changes will be communicated to clients in advance.
