Darlene M. Scott is a Coach, Counselor and Speaker. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Eastern University, and is a nationally certified, licensed professional counselor with over 18 years experience in the human services field. Over the years, Ms. Scott has honed her skills as a clinician, a supervisor and a manager. Her experience over the last decade involves working closely with the D&A and co-occurring populations in inpatient, outpatient and residential settings. She has also mentored, supervised and trained direct care staff and clinicians working towards clinical licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Scott also has several years experience in program management and program development. She remains active in private practice and continues to teach, lecture and engage in research and training related to evidence-based practices.
Ms. Scott is also one of the top ranked Christian counselors in Delaware County, Pa and enjoys working with students from the local colleges and universities. Areas of specialty include, trauma-focused therapy, psychoanalysis, substance use disorders, mood disorders, Christian counseling, (CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and (SFBT) Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and (EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy for trauma and PTSD.
